As a resident of Levittown, I was delighted to hear from my friend who has children in the school district that recently a female painter was hired. I cannot tell you how relieved the child's mother was to see that there was a female painter on the Salk premises. When children have after school activities, it gives one a safe feeling to know that they, especially the girls, can have a female around. After speaking to the painter, I found that she has been hired part-time. Well, in this day and age when we have a woman running for president, I commend the Levittown School District and hope to see this young lady hired on a full time basis. Congratulations Levittown, you are truly moving with the times.
