Levittown West Little League is hosting registration for boys baseball and girls softball on Saturday, Feb. 2 at Redwing Field between the hours of 9 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. This will be the final registration without a late fee. Girls softball registrations are for girls ages 6 to 12 years old. The cost is $85 with a family savings of $200 for three children. Boys baseball is for ages 4 to 12 years old. The cost is $75 for T-ball, $100 for baseball, with a family savings of $200 for three children. The family savings can be combined for baseball and softball. They are also accepting online registrations at www.LevittownWestLittleLeague.com. There is no mandatory fundraising. All home games are played at Redwing Park. LSWAA is holding early registration for the 2008 spring season of baseball, softball, boys senior league baseball ages 13-17, and girls/boys kickball ages 3-4 online at www.LSWBB.com. You can register on Sundays through Feb. 10 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Levittown Memorial Education Center. Online payment accepted through PayPal or print out a form and mail it, along with a check to LSW, P.O. Box 245, Wantagh, NY 11793. Levittown North Baseball will be holding its final registration for the upcoming spring 2008 baseball season Friday, Feb. 1 from 6 to 8 p.m. in the lobby at Gardiners Avenue School. If you or anybody you know needs financial assistance to play baseball this spring, let them know. Island Trees Baseball will be hosting free clinics at Stokes School from 6:30 to 8 p.m. T-Ball/Rookies (ages 4-6): Feb. 11 and March 10. Farms (ages 7-8): Feb. 25 and March 17. The Levittown Athletic Club will continue the 2008 spring girls softball season registration on Wednesday evenings, at 7 p.m., in the lobby of the Sparke Elementary School, as long as school is open during the day. Girls in second grade through 12th grade are eligible to play LAC Softball. LAC is a chartered member of the Babe Ruth Girls Softball Association, and their girls participate in the Metro New York Championship in July, which are 8U, 10U and 12U teams. There will be free clinics in March for all registered girls, teaching pitching skills, hitting and fielding techniques. Their spring season begins in mid-April and concludes in June. Horseback Riding - New, instructional riding program will be a first come first serve registration. Riding, tacking and horsemanship. The program will be held at the Bethpage Stables and will consist of six, half-hour, once weekly sessions to be available both on selected weekday afternoons and Sundays. Four registrants per class. Program begins in March. Fee: $180.

Archery - Ages 8 to 18 years - Coed, first-come first-served. Trained safety course instructors. Develop hand/eye coordination and concentration while focusing on striking bulls-eye targets. Equipment provided. Trophies, end of season tournament and shirts included. Sessions held on Mondays, 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. (one hour long) starting in late March or early April. Program runs approximately eight weeks depending on school availability at LMEC. Fee: $80.

Tennis - Ages 7 to 15 years - Coed, lessons on modern indoor tennis courts, professional tennis instruction. Bring racquet and sneakers (balls provided). Classes at Sportime, 101 Norcross Ave., Bethpage (933-8500). 10 registrants to one instructor per class. Beginner classes although everyone is welcome. Classes on Sunday evenings starting in April and ending in June. Program runs for eight weekly one-hour sessions. Age groups 7, 8 and 9, and the other 10 and older. No make-up classes. Fee: $95.

Track - Ages 5 to 15 years - Coed, starting end of March, practice will generally be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:15 to 6:30 p.m. at DAHS. Beginning at the end of April friendly competition with other NCPAL units on Saturday mornings. Events include dashes, runs, relays and field events. Season runs through June. Shirt and shorts included. Fee: $45.

Registration Dates: Tuesday, Feb. 5 from 6:30 to 8 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 7 from 6:30 to 8 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 9 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Registrations will all take place at the Levittown PAL office located at 64 Division Ave., Levittown - Suite 101.
