As the holiday season approaches, we find the Lady Dragons of Division Avenue High School ending a very successful preseason basketball schedule. The girls dropped the preseason opener to a highly ranked Syosset squad, and then ran off victories in all the rest of their games. Girls' Basketball in Nassau County has gone to an ability grouping alignment in the way they set up each conference. This season the Lady Dragons were ranked eighth in the county among "A" classification schools. Being in the top ten of the county means a very tough schedule for the Blue Dragons. All the girls are ready for the challenge and look forward to great competition.
