The Levittown Athletic Club will continue the 2008 spring girls softball season registration on Wednesday evenings, at 7 p.m., in the lobby of the Sparke Elementary School, as long as school is open during the day. Girls in second grade through 12th grade are eligible to play LAC Softball. LAC is a chartered member of the Babe Ruth Girls Softball Association, and their girls participate in the Metro New York Championship in July, which are 8U, 10U and 12U teams. There will be free clinics in March for all registered girls, teaching pitching skills, hitting and fielding techniques. Their spring season begins in mid-April and concludes in June.
