Levittown West Little League is holding registration for boys and girls. Levittown West is the official Williamsport Little League. In-person registrations will be held at Redwing Park Saturday, Dec. 8 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Wednesday, Dec. 12 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Levittown Public Library. Fees: Tee-ball (ages 4-6) $75 per child, baseball (ages 7-12) $100 per child, family discount (three children) only $200, girls softball (ages 6-16) $85 per child, family discount (three children) only $200. Levittown Little League offers a registration refund of $50 for any new sponsors brought to the league. They do not have mandatory fundraising. All home games are played at Redwing Park. Island Trees Baseball will be hosting registration for spring season and free clinics at Stokes School from 6:30 to 8 p.m. T-Ball/Rookies (ages 4-6): Dec. 10, Jan. 14, Feb. 11 and March 10. Farms (ages 7-8): Nov. 26, Dec. 17, Jan. 28, Feb. 25 and March 17. Minors/Majors (ages 9-12): Dec. 3, Jan. 7, Feb. 4, March 3 and March 31. Levittown Central Baseball is holding registration for the spring 2008 season on Saturday, Dec. 15 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Levittown Public Library Community Room A. If new registrant, a copy of the child's birth certificate must be sent with registration. They will also be collecting Toys for Tots on Dec. 15. Attendees are encouraged to bring an unwrapped toy. The Levittown Athletic Club will continue the 2008 spring girls softball season registration on Wednesday evenings, at 7 p.m., in the lobby of the Sparke Elementary School, as long as school was open during the day. Girls in second grade through 12th grade are eligible to play LAC Softball. LAC is a chartered member of the Babe Ruth Girls Softball Association, and their girls participate in the Metro New York Championship in July, which are 8U, 10U and 12U teams have dominated since 2004, the year they joined Babe Ruth. There will be free clinics in March to all registered girls, teaching pitching skills, hitting and fielding techniques. Their spring season begins in mid-April and concludes in June.
