The Levittown Chamber of Commerce held its general meeting on June 20 at LaFocaccia's Restaurant. The guest speakers at the meeting were Sol Soskin and Patty Cook of Long Island Development Corporation Procurement Technical Assistance Program. They spoke on how local businesses can land government contracts.
The Chamber meets every third Wednesday of the month and meetings are open to the public. Meetings rotate month to month from a lunch, to a dinner and then back to a lunch. Location of the meetings moves, to give different Chamber member eateries an opportunity to host the gathering. About 30 to 40 people attend.
