Gasper Barresi of North Babylon (former longtime resident of Levittown), died on September 21, 2007. Predeceased in 2005 by his wife, Jasmine. Father of Mary Vindett, Robert Barresi, Joyce Braider and the late Lorraine Corbett. Grandfather of eight grandchildren and seven great- grandchildren. Brother of John Barresi and Geraldine Sedita. Arrangements were made by the Arthur F. White Funeral Home. Funeral Mass was held September 24 at St. Martin of Tours RC Church, with interment following at Long Island National Cemetery, Pinelawn. A US Navy veteran, he was a member of K of C Holy Innocents Council #3581, American Legion Post #3123 and VFW Post #9592. Husband of Mary C. Father of Karen Burns (Thomas), Patricia Buckley (Bart), Patrick D., William J. and Theresa Cotona (Joseph). Brother of Alfred, Mary DeJulio and James. Grandfather of TJ, Justin, Nikki, Corrine and Joey. The family was cared for by the Thomas F. Dalton Funeral Home, Levittown Chapel. Mass at St. James RC Church. Cremation private.
