Supervisor Kate Murray honored the 2007 recipients of the Town of Hempstead Veterans Award at this year's Salute to Veterans ceremony at Town Park Point Lookout on June 30. On Sunday, July 8, the Levittown Swimming Association kicked off its 52nd swim season with its traditional Relay Carnival Meet at the Jerusalem Avenue pool in Levittown. Relay Carnival is a fun meet which features 26 relay races for boys and girls, ages 7 to 18, in the various strokes (free, back, breast and fly). FULL STORY
