The 2007 varsity baseball team finished the year with a record of 17-5-1. This was a successful year considering the lost of six starters from a county final team the year before. Looking back on the season the team lost 3 out of 5 games by one run and two out of three games were in extra innings. In the playoffs the blue dragons lost to North Shore 5-0, then County finalist Clarke 4-3. The team had 10 players receive post season awards. Bryan Grubb was named All County and League MVP after hitting 538 which placed him third in the county. Bryan also had 42 hits, with 15 doubles, 32 runs scored and a slugging percentage of .756. Chris Sanabria was named All County for the second year in a row hitting 387 with 25 runs scored and going 6-1 with 55 strikeouts in 40.2 innings. Paul Bischoff also made All County by going 6-0 with 52 strikeouts in 48 innings with a 2.04 Era. Paul also hit .310 with 19 RBIs. Ryan Hayes was named All Conference after hitting .396 with 21 runs scored and striking out only one time in 53 at bats, Matt Mancz made All Conference after finishing third on the team in hitting with a .426 average with 20 runs scored and junior Stephen McNamara who finished second hit .429 with 19 RBIs to earn All Conference. Travis Ratliff was named All League after going 2-0 with 2.26 ERA and junior outfielder Erik Pedersen hit .348 with 19 runs to also earn All League. Senior catcher Dan Karcher along with sophomore pitcher Kevin Chenicek was named Honorable Mention All League. Dan hit .284 with 20 RBI and Kevin went 3-1, with a 2.23 ERA and hitting .344.
