I wanted to take this opportunity to thank all the residents of the Island Trees School District for their support during this year's school budget vote and board trustee elections. Additionally, I would like to give a special thanks to the members of the following groups and/or organizations for their unsolicited support: Island Trees Board of Education, U.T.I.T. - United Teachers of Island Trees, PTAs, PTSA and PTA Council of Island Trees, Island Trees Little League and Levittown Fire Department.

As a result of your overwhelming support, this year's election has been a humbling experience for me. I can only hope to continue to be worthy of your loyalty. To those of you who chose not to support me, I respect your decision. However, I vow to make every effort to gain your confidence and trust.

I urge everyone to get involved by becoming knowledgeable about what is going on in our community by asking questions and providing input. Your input is a valuable resource. Making informed decisions requires tapping every resource and obtaining credible information.
