The Levittown Board of Education extends an invitation to District residents to serve on a special bond issue committee pursuant to New York State EXCEL Building Aid legislation. Under this legislation, the Levittown School District is eligible to receive up to seven million dollars in State aid for capital improvements. The unique feature of the EXCEL aid is that it would not involve any tax increase for District residents. The EXCEL aid is a rare opportunity for Levittown and school districts throughout the state to make capital improvements at no cost to local residents.

Residents are invited to participate in the EXCEL Building Aid bond issue committee. The committee will review the District's current and future needs and make recommendations to the Board of Education regarding those projects that should be included in the EXCEL Aid Bond Issue.

Interested residents should submit their name in writing to the Office of the Superintendent, Levittown Public Schools, 150 Abbey Lane, Levittown, NY 11756 no later than June 6.
