Division Girls Lacrosse Team Is Off to Great Start
The Division Avenue High School Girls Lacrosse team is off to a great start this year under first year coach Lisa Scansarole. The team is currently undefeated with impressive wins over cross-town rival MacArthur and Mineola. The team had a great 6-5 win over Seaford. The team trailed at half time 4-0 but came out strong in the second half for a 6-5 win. Sophomore Jenna Davis scored the winning goal with 11 seconds left in the game. Jenna leads the team in goals with 33 and senior Haley Lacey leads the team in assists with 14. Strong defensive play from seniors Jackie Coyne and Chelsea Bjornsson have also played a major role in the team's success. The team is currently 5-0 in conference play and the next home game will be Monday, April 30 at 7:30 p.m. Please come out and support the team.

Registration Information
Wantagh-Seaford PAL is holding registration for the Girls Summer Fast Pitch Softball program. Eligible players for Senior Division are those students entering 9th thru 12th grade in September 2007 and Graduating Seniors (exceptions apply). The Junior Division includes students entering 7th and 8th grades in the Fall. Teams will play in July and August, mostly three times a week, during the week. There's a possibility for one double header on Sunday evening under the lights during the season.
