The MacArthur Generals upheld tradition with a successful and impressive weekend at the Nassau County Wrestling Championship held Saturday, Feb. 17 at C.W. Post College.

MacArthur had seven wrestlers receive All-County honors, including Dan Mahoney, who received the Tournament gold. Dan pinned his first three opponents, then defeated Phil Thomas of East Meadow in the finals. Dan will represent Nassau County at the New York State Championships. The other honorees are: Billy Klein (senior) third place; John Cataldo (junior) and Sean Kempf (sophomore) fourth place; Mike Lazarus (sophomore) fifth place; Vito Cataldo (senior) and Alex Grant (sophomore) sixth place.
