The MacArthur High School girls bowling team finished its regular season 4-8 (varsity), and 9-3 (junior varsity). The varsity girls placed 15th during the season to qualify the team for the county tournament. Leading the way with an average of 176, with three 600 plus series, and had a career high game of 258 was senior Rachel Lirio. Bowling Consistently and putting in an excellent effort throughout the year were seniors Vanessa Constillion, Veronica Secreti, Lisa Rodney, and juniors Marissa Padovano, Gina Fiorillo, and Jackie Morrison. Marissa Padavano maintained a high average of 150. The freshmen girls, Stephanie Erchbacher, Danielle Beach, Jaime Morrison, Jillian Strauss, and Kristina Klivan were a very big part in the girls qualifying for the county championship. Coach Gattus would like to thank the girls for their excellent effort and he is very proud of their accomplishments during the season. He would also like to see all the underclassmen back next season, and would like to wish the seniors well in all their endeavors.
