The Levittown Public Library budget vote and the election of a library trustee is scheduled for Tuesday, April 10, from noon to 9 p.m. in the library's Community Room.

One library trustee will be elected for a five-year term ending June 30, 2012. Candidates must file nominating petitions, signed by at least 25 qualified voters of the district, in the office of the clerk of the school district no later than 5 p.m. Monday, March 12.

The board of library trustees will hold an open budget meeting, in conjunction with their regular monthly meeting, on Wednesday, March 7, in the Community Room at 8 p.m.

Those who are registered to vote on Levittown School District matters and those who are residents of the Levittown School District and have voted in the general election within the last four years are eligible to vote on Tuesday, April 10. Registration to vote is ongoing at the office of the district clerk of the Levittown Union Free School District between the hours of 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., on school days. The last day to register is Monday, March 26.
