The Eighth Squad of the Nassau County Police Department recently reported the details of a robbery that occurred in Levittown early Friday, Dec. 22.
At approximately 2 a.m. a male suspect allegedly entered the Exxon Gas Station located at 3300 Hempstead Turnpike, produced a handgun and demanded money. According to the police report, a 65-year-old male gas station attendant complied and gave the suspect an unknown amount of cash receipts from the register. The suspect left the premises, met another male subject across the street and both were reportedly last seen running northbound on foot across Hempstead Turnpike.
The hold-up suspect is described as a black male, 5'6", 140 lbs., wearing a black, plastic Halloween-type mask, green sweatshirt and blue jeans. The second subject is described as a black male wearing a black jacket and a white, hooded sweatshirt. No further descriptions were given and there were no reported injuries.
