Division Avenue High School's junior varsity girls soccer team had an undefeated season finishing with an overall record of 12-0. This was the first time in the history of the girls soccer program that the junior varsity team recorded an undefeated season. The team was led by its two captains, sophomores Caitlin Carew and Lindsey Pariti. Caitlin led the offense for the team having a personal and team best 4 goals in a victory over Plainview JFK. Freshman Amanda Epple also led the offense in scoring this season with the help of Carly Costello, Mia LaFata, Molly Bauer, Frayba Shirgul, Crystal Sanchez and Michelle Azizi. Christie Boneillo, Melissa Luciano and Monica Harvey were the core of the team contributing to each game on both the offensive and defensive sides. The defense was led by Lindsey Pariti, Kim Daly, Danielle Clesi and Elena Voronin. Nicolette Parmese recorded four shutouts in goal this season and never gave up more than one goal per game. Congratulations to the entire team on all their hard work and dedication leading to a perfect season.
