Division Avenue had its first girls' lacrosse team this spring. The first year was a successful one. The girls ended their season 9-2, placing them in second place in Conference III. Out of six All-County players in Conference III, DAHS had two recipients, junior Hayley Lacey and freshman Jenna Davis. Division's All-Conference picks were seniors Caitlin Heraghty and Nicole Foy and junior Jackie Coyne. The Unsung Hero Award went to sophomore Samantha Foy. Division's Scholar Athlete Award went to senior Heather Hili. The team also consisted of seniors Kathy Waite, Robyn Terillion and Ashley Zinnel, juniors Chelsea Bjornnson, Heather Anderson, Alana Nobile, Justine Rothar, April Ferraro and Teresa Notorastefano, sophomores Kristin Newsome and Kathleen Davis and freshman Christi Boneillo and Kim Daly.

The girls did a great job and set a high standard of what a Lady Dragon lacrosse player should be. This team will always be remembered and they will never forget what a terrific season they had.
