After several months of analysis and detailed public review of the offer by Long Island Swimming, Ltd., to install a pool on school district property in exchange for providing the school district with free use of the facility, the school district and Long Island Swimming, Ltd., mutually concluded that the several outstanding questions regarding the pool are unlikely to be answered in any finite manner. Accordingly, the Levittown Board of Education does not intend to pursue the issue any longer. Any further analysis and/or committee review of questions relating to the pool has been canceled.
