The Levittown Kiwanis Club elected its board and officers for the 2006-2007 year at its July 27 meeting. The officers are as follows: President Peter Ray, Vice President Susie Trenkle, Treasurer Gail Cummo, Secretary Lisa Jean Santer and Immediate Past President Gary Crozier. The board of directors: are Ken Auer, Mauro Cassano, Sue Hahn, Fred Interdonato, Tom Mawn, Jackie Nogan, Gloria Olsen, Kevin Regan and Peter Ryan. The new officers and board will begin their terms in October.

The Levittown Kiwanis Club only meets every other week during the summer. The last meeting of the summer will take place on Aug. 24. Levittown Kiwanis meets Thursday nights at 6:30 p.m. at La Focaccia restaurant, 70 East Village Green, Levittown, NY 11756. Telephone: 796-4461.

The Levittown Kiwanis Club is a very active part of our local community. Levittown Kiwanis hosts food drives, sends underprivileged children to camp, gives scholarships, sponsors community events and more. If you are interested in learning more about this philanthropic organization and the good works the club does come to a meeting. Guests are welcome to attend.
