The Levittown Kiwanis Club held a tree dedication ceremony this past Sunday to remember longtime member George Orth who passed away last spring. A plaque at the base of the tree, which is located on Library Lane outside the Bluegrass Lane pool, denotes that the tree is in memory of "Mr. Terrific Kid" George Orth. Many members of the Levittown Kiwanis Club were on hand with members of the Orth family to remember this remarkable Kiwanian.
The Levittown Kiwanis Club only meets every other week during July and August. The club will be meeting on July 13 and 27 and Aug. 10 and 24.
