Sally (Packwood) Soto, of Levittown, died on April 8, 2006 at the Charlwell Nursing Home in Norwood, MA, after a long illness. She was 59. Born in Brooklyn, she was the daughter of the late Charles Russell and Elizabeth Alice (Jordan) Packwood and the sister of the late Russell Charles Packwood. Mrs. Soto earned her nursing degree from the Lenox Hill Hospital School of Nursing in Manhattan. She worked for many years as a registered nurse at North Shore LIJ Hospital. She is survived by her daughter Elizabeth Anne Gassoway (Paul) of Norwood; a sister Suzanne Pinkney of Pennsylvania; and her four grandchildren, Teresa, Charlotte, Nicholas and Gregory. Arrangements were made by the May Funeral Home, Norwood.
