The Blue Dragon Softball team opened up its season 3-0.

In their first match up against Hicksville High School Jessica Constantine went three for three and sophomore Christine Davis threw her first career no-hitter as the Dragons prevailed 8-0. Game two saw freshman Tara Lanigan pitch a one-hitter. Tara McBride and Tara Darcy both went two for five to lead the offense as the lady Dragons defeated New Hyde Park 14-0 in game 3.

The Dragons took on Mineola next and Kara Darcy went two for four and Christine Vermilye went three for four. Christine Davis finished off the offense with a solo homerun. Davis also threw a one-hitter as Division defeated Mineola 9-0. Thus far the Dragons have scored 31 runs and let up none.
