Kaitlin dedicates herself to excellence in academics, extra-curricular activities and community service. Beyond the classroom, Kaitlin is a gifted athlete, a sharp-minded Mathlete, President of the Spanish Honor Society and an active member of the National Honor Society. She is also a devoted and trusted community volunteer. She has a genuine affection for special needs children and she works with these youngsters as often as she can.
Kaitlin is a loyal volunteer with the town's ANCHOR program serving the needs of physically and mentally challenged individuals. In fact, Kaitlin even sacrificed a season with her high school softball team to help with ANCHOR's after-school bowling program. She supports the Association for Children With Downs Syndrome, and participates in the Breast Cancer and Parkinson Unity Walks.
For the past two years, Kaitlin graciously spent her physical education class as a career development helper for mentally and developmentally challenged students who share the Division Avenue High School building. With brilliant mind and loving heart Kaitlin has stepped beyond the role of a typical high school student to help others and positively impact society.
