This month's Spotlight on Business is Howard Mann, president of MASH Business Systems, Inc. Located at 170 Engineers Dr. in Hicksville, with additional warehouse space in Farmingdale and Woodbury, MASH Business Systems has the only remanufacturing facility in Nassau County.
Selling, leasing and/or renting new and used copiers, MASH is extremely flexible in meeting all the budgetary and copy/fax needs of its customers. Customers can get up to 60 percent off list prices by purchasing remanufactured products and the remanufactured products still come with new product warrantees. MASH will also provide an all inclusive service plan for every product that they carry. Plans provide one- to four-hour service for Long Island, Queens and Brooklyn. Howard, an Albany State University graduate grew up in East Meadow and has been a Long Island resident for 50 years. Howard and his wife Janet have three children, two in college and one in Syosset High School. He is a member of the Levittown, Syosset and Hicksville Chambers of Commerce and the Professional Business Networking Group. Howard is also an active fundraiser for QSAC (Queens Services for Autistic Citizens), Ronald McDonald House, UCP (United Cerebral Palsy) and Heed Foundation (Helping to End Eating Disorders).
The Spotlight on Business is selected every month by a business card lottery of Chamber members in attendance at the general meeting. The Levittown Chamber holds their general meetings on the third Wednesday of the month. Meetings are open to the public and elected officials are often in attendance.
