Salk/MacArthur Service Road Idea Nowhere Near Reality
The possible construction of a service road through the property of MacArthur High School and Salk Middle School has been a topic of discussion at several Levittown Board of Education Meetings over the past few months.

Bob Koenig: Musician and Levittown Historian
On Saturday, Feb. 11, the Levittown Community Council and the Levittown Kiwanis club will present the Winter Festival. The event will be held at the Levittown Memorial Education Center from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Bob Koenig, who lives in Levittown with his wife Jessica and their son Jonny, will be performing songs he has written about Levittown. Those songs will also be part of a CD that Koenig will be releasing next year to coincide with the town's 60th anniversary.

Island Trees Girls Varsity Basketball Reaching New Heights
The Lady Dawgs of Island Trees are currently the only varsity team on Long Island that remains undefeated. The Lady Dawgs are ranked No. 2 on Long Island amongst small schools and No. 13 in New York State. The Lady Dawgs are 14-0 after two more impressive victories over Bethpage and Seaford. Freshman Meghan Biondolillo has led the way offensively, averaging 14 points per game. Valerie Ahrens, Samantha Modik and Angelika Paskins have wreaked havoc on the defensive end with their tremendous pressure. Sarah Hess and Katie Tolan have been dominant in the paint, averaging 20 rebounds and 5 blocks per game between them. Beth Hughes, Alysha Ciaramitaro, Lauren Mason and Kristen Walsh have brought energy off the bench and have contributed at both ends of the court.

Registration Information
Levittown Little League (formerly Levittown West) will be holding additional registrations for the 2006 season.
