James Martino of Afton, NY, originally from East Meadow, died on Jan. 20, 2006. He was a retired NC Fire Marshal, longtime member of the East Meadow Fire Department and former East Meadow Fire Commissioner. Father of Christopher J. and Jill. Son of Florence and the late Peter J. Brother of Jane and Chuck Dugan, Susan Braun and Dennis Ciccariello. Uncle of Todd, Tiffany, Dakota and Scooter. The family was cared for by the Thomas F. Dalton Funeral Home, Levittown Chapel.
