Great job by the Girls Varsity and JV Bowling teams on their wins over Wantagh. Excellent games were bowled by Nichole Coradini, Amy Strickland and Jackie Buckley. The boys bowling teams had a good day too. The highlight was Nick Testut with a 231.

The Girls 8th grade Volleyball team got back to the 500 mark by defeating Mattlin three games to two. The team was led by dominating serves from Jess Biessel, Michelle Giordano, Dana Collelouri, Jackie Kupfer and Sam Wierzbicki. Dana and Sylvana Rivera came up with two kills. Great job by the entire team.

The Girls 7th grade Volleyball team lost a very tough match to Mattlin with a score of 3-2. Stacy Riley and Lisa Indelicato had tremendous serving runs while Tess Abraham, Sarah Kutzma, Justine Abramowski and Alyssa Fazio had strong defensive games. The Lady Bulldogs entered the tie-breaking game with a fierce competitive attitude, but were unable to secure the win.

The Boys 8th grade Basketball team earned its fifth win of the season in a hard fought battle against a tough Woodland team. The game went back and forth throughout the first half, but Dan Faughnan's buzzer beater at the end of the second quarter gave them a one-point lead at the break. The game was tied going into the final period when the Bulldogs used their strength inside and their athleticism at the guard position to grab the victory. Four players finished in double figures with Anthony Ciaramitaro scoring 12 points and Bryan Verbitsky, Rob Castillo and Anthony Wrightington each adding 10 points. Dan Bartlett continued his hot shooting adding four points and Giuseppe Ferraro also added four points. James Vesely, Pat Reilly and Dan Faughnan each added two points.

The Boys 7th grade Basketball team lost a close game to Mattlin. Offensively, Mike Witteck scored 10 points while Tyler Walsh, Casey Hastings and Matt Handel each had four points. The team played outstanding defense. Jawad Tassawer had key blocks while Chris Cutrone, Ryan MacDonald and Nic Jorge had important steals. Joe Zelaskowski and Erick Flores led the team in rebounding.
