Viola Marie Scarisbrick, formerly of Levittown, died on Dec. 6, 2005. She was predeceased by her husband, John, and their son, John Jr. Grandmother of Kathleen Lauterborn and Daniel Scarisbrick. Mother-in- law of Johanna. Also survived by her brother, Robert Wygand, and great grandchildren, Rebecca and Nolan Lauterborn and Erica Scarisbrick. She was past president of the Wantagh Senior Citizens and a member of the United Methodist Church of Bethpage. Among her many years of church activities, she was a choir member, board member and past president of the Women's Club. Arrangements were made by Arthur F. White Funeral Home. A service was held at the Bethpage United Methodist Church, with interment following at the Church Cemetery.

William Birmingham, 42, formerly of Wantagh, died on Dec. 12, 2005 after an extended illness. Brother of Jean Gans of Ohio and Robert Birmingham of New Jersey. He was predeceased by his parents Raymond and Joan. Arrangements were made by the Arthur F. White Funeral Home. Graveside service and interment at St. Charles Cemetery.
