The Nassau County Chapter of the National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame honored new members of the Golden Eleven - Football Team at its annual awards brunch on Dec. 4.
The National Football Foundation recognizes individuals who have excelled on the athletic field, in the classroom and in their communities. Levittown's Jimmy Davis was chosen by the Foundation as a 2005 Scholar Athlete. In addition, Jimmy was selected to the Nassau County Golden Eleven - Football Team, an elite group that truly represents the best and the brightest the county has to offer.
Jimmy, a wide receiver and cornerback for the Division Avenue Football Team, is also a point guard for the basketball team and an All-County Lacrosse player. He will continue his education and play lacrosse next year at Princeton University.
