Levittown Kiwanians and spouses Kevin Regan, Andy Booth, Hempstead Town Supervisor and Kiwanis Kate Murray, Kiwanis President Peter Ray, Roe Truelove, Tom and Mary Mawn, Sue Hahn, Mauro and Louise Cassano and Ken Auer joined Santa, his elf and children at the Summit Lane DLC Party.

A Special Party for Special Children

On Friday, Dec. 16, Levittown Kiwanis hosted its Annual Holiday Party for students in the Summit Lane DLC Program. This was a special day that was as enjoyable for the Kiwanis members who got to see the joy on the children's faces as it is for the children who each received a present from Santa.

Kiwanis to Host 30th Annual Brotherhood/Sisterhood Luncheon

This coming year, the Levittown Kiwanis Club will host its 30th Annual Brotherhood/Sisterhood Luncheon on Feb.16 from 12 to 2 at Domenico's Restaurant. The purpose of the luncheon is to pay special tribute to the local clergy. Guests are welcome. The cost for non-clergy members is $24. For more information please contact Steve Ellis at 796-0400.

Levittown Terrific Kids Program

Terrific Kids is a program that provides schools with a tool to reward students for special achievements that may otherwise go unnoticed. The Levittown Kiwanis Club has scheduled the following Terrific Kids Programs in each of the elementary and middle schools in the Levittown and Island Trees Districts for the upcoming month: Wednesday, Jan. 4 at 9:15 a.m. at Wisdom Lane Middle School; Wednesday, Jan. 18 at 9:10 a.m. at Gardiners Avenue School and Monday, Jan. 23 at 2:25 p.m. at East Broadway School.
