On Dec. 13 the registered voters of the Wantagh Fire District will have the opportunity to elect one of the five fire commissioners, responsible for your fire and EMS protection. If there is one man, who we in the fire service can look upon as our role model, that would certainly be Donald Snyder. Honesty, loyalty, sincerity and dedication are just a few words that come to mind when speaking of Don. As a firefighter, Don has dedicated himself to responding to alarms for more than 50 years. He has gone through the ranks of the fire department, and has been an active commissioner for many years.

The Board of Fire Commissioners of the Wantagh Fire District has worked hard to provide our residents with the highest level of fire and EMS protection, while keeping our cost to you, the taxpayers, relatively low. Don Snyder has been a vital part of accomplishing this task. And would continue to be an asset to the fire district. I look forward to seeing you at the polls and thank you in advance for your support.
