Wisdom Lane Middle School, in conjunction with Levittown Public Schools and the Town of Hempstead adopted Bogalusa Middle School in Louisiana as a focal point for our relief efforts after the devastation of Hurricane Katrina.

Wisdom Lane Middle School would like to take this opportunity to thank the following organizations and community members for their hard work, time, dedication and donations: students and staff at Wisdom Lane, Levittown Public Schools, Town of Hempstead donated the 54-foot trailer headed for Bogalusa, Big Brothers/Big Sisters donated trucks to do local furniture pick-ups, John Theissen Children's Foundation, Division Avenue High School, East Broadway Elementary School, Lee Road Elementary School, Northside Elementary School, Salk Middle School, MacArthur High School, Hempstead Town Supervisor Kate Murray, Hempstead Town Councilman Gary Hudes, Assemblyman David McDonough, Frey Scientific, Fred's Deli, Going Signs, Division Avenue Deli, UPS Stores of Levittown and Wantagh and Chili's of Bethpage.
