Community Gathers to Commemorate Veterans Day
In a service held each year at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month, the Levittown/Island Trees Veterans Council, along with Levittown community members, took a few moments to remember the sacrifices made by veterans and current soldiers in the past and today.

Registration Information
Levittown Central Baseball is holding its 2006 spring registration on Tuesday, Nov. 22 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the American Legion Post 1711 on North Jerusalem Avenue. The cost is $50 for 4-year-olds (must be age 4 before May 1, 2006), $74 for T-Ball and Rookies ages 5-7, $95 for Farms, Minors, Majors ages 8-12 and $140 for Seniors ages 13-18. The 4-year-olds, T-Ball and Rookies' contacts are John Cahill - 644-0459 and Mike Martin - 735-4125. The Farms, Minors, Majors' contacts are Dan Stripp - 579-0156 and Rob Pappas - 731-1822. Due to Babe Ruth adjusting the age cut-off from July 31 to April 30, all new and returning players must submit a copy of their birth certificate with the registration form. Levittown Athletes Invited Ho Ho Ho Holiday 5K Run
There is simply no better way for Levittown runners, walkers, wheelchair athletes and their families to celebrate the holiday season than by being part of the fun at the 18th Annual Carter, DeLuca, Farrell & Schmidt LLP Ho Ho Ho Holiday Run. The run will be held on the roads of Bethpage, on Saturday morning, Dec. 17.
