The Levittown Fire Department held a Fire Prevention Poster Contest for all children in kindergarten through third grade within the fire district. Grades fourth through eighth participated in the Fire Prevention Essay Contest.

Island Trees Athletics
The Island Trees Varsity Bulldogs dominated the Roslyn Bulldogs 31-8. A crushing performance by the defense and a steamroller performance by the offense led the "real" Bulldogs to victory. Joe Ciaravino ran for 305 yards - a school record! The final conference game will be at home vs. Mineola.

Registration Information
Lacrosse Boy Tomahawks: First Come Basis. Loaner equipment is available to all first-time participants only, (deposit required) but they must have their own lacrosse stick, shoulder pads and protective cup. All returning players must supply their own equipment. A full game uniform (shorts and jersey) is provided to each participant. Parents are encouraged to act as assistant coaches or team administrators. Spring Travel League; 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th Graders. Practice will begin March 1, 2006. Starting in April games will be played on Sundays and end in June. This is a travel league, although travel is limited to Long Island and rarely takes more than 30 minutes to reach a location. Please bring a copy of your child's birth certificate for us to keep on file. Boys fee: $95.
