The Levittown Fire Department, Holy Innocents Council of the Knights of Columbus and Veterans of Foreign Wars is running its bi-annual blood drive on Thursday, Oct. 27 from 4-8:45 p.m. at the Chief Ronald T. Kerwin Hall at 120 Gardiners Ave. The entrance for the blood drive is on Jeffries Rd. on the north side of the firehouse. Blood reserves are down and contributions could help save a life. Proper identification is required. Eligibility criteria are as follows: have valid identification and know social security number, weigh at least 110 pounds, be between the ages of 16-75 and not have any tattoos within the past 12 months.
The Knights of Columbus and the Veterans of Foreign Wars are also involved in helping with this event. A roast beef dinner will be available for those who donate at the Knights of Columbus opposite the firehouse on Jeffries Rd.
