Levittown resident Elizabeth Baquet was diagnosed with Primary Lateral Sclerosis two years ago. Rather than remaining idle while this progressive neurodegenerative disorder continues to affect her extremities, she decided to "join the effort to help find a cure."

DAHS to Dedicate Baseball Field to Coach Doug Robins
The Division Avenue High School Baseball Field will be renamed the Doug Robins Field on Sunday, Oct. 23 at 11 a.m. A brief reception will follow in the Division Avenue High School cafeteria. The celebration will continue at Wickers restaurant, 206 Old Country Rd., Hicksville from 1:30 to 4:40 p.m. Admission is $20 per person. Levittown South-Wantagh Athletic Association will be accepting registration every Saturday and Sunday in October at the Duck Pond Field concession, and the Alken Avenue Field Complex.
