The Levittown Kiwanis Club helped make Long Island Alzheimer's Foundation Annual Fundraising Walk memorable again this year. This year's Memory Walk, was held at Old Bethpage Restoration Village and included a Fall Festival with attractions for the whole family.
Members of the Levittown Kiwanis Club, other clubs in the division and local key clubs helped with registration, distributing food and more. In addition, members of Kiwanis assisted with the fundraising for the Long Island Alzheimer's Foundation's 2nd Annual Memory Walk. The Levittown Kiwanis team was coordinated by Past President Mauro Cassano.
The Levittown Kiwanis Club is a very active part of the Levittown community. Levittown Kiwanis hosts food drives, sends underprivileged children to camp, gives scholarships, sponsors community events and more. If you are interested in learning more about this philanthropic organization and the good works the club does come to a meeting. Guests are welcome to attend. Levittown Kiwanis meets every Thursday night at 6:30 p.m. at: La Focaccia Restaurant, 70 East Village Green, Levittown, NY 11756. Telephone: 796-4461.
Look for the Kiwanis Korner in the Levittown Tribune every week.
