The Island Trees Phyllys traveled to Wallingford, CT this past weekend to participate in the TWIST Soccer Tournament.

The team played four games over two days, facing opposing teams from three different states (CT, MA and RI).

The Phyllys were extremely successful - handily winning three out of four games. The offense was on fire, scoring four goals in each of the three winning games while the defense and goalkeepers held strong.

The team suffered a 1-0 loss in the final game but never gave up for a minute. Congratulations to Kaitlyn Abreu, Elizabeth Cortez, Alexa Del Piano, Kristin Duthie, Brianna Ferrara, Fallon Flanagan and Alyssa Fiore, Erin Neuman, Kathleen Steinwall and Tori Tedeschi on a tournament well played.
