Once again the Island Trees football team will be selling their community Gold Cards. They will be selling the cards the week of Aug. 22. The door-to-door blitz will be taking place on Wednesday, Aug. 24 from 4-7 p.m.

The $10 card gives residents various discounts to many local merchants. The football team uses the fund-raiser to purchase equipment and rent lights for their annual night game. The card also features their 2005 schedule.

Varsity Football Coach Bob Daly and the players thank residents for their past and continued support.
