Sixteen-year-old Lauren Konetsky of Levittown scored as the winner of the Wheelchair Division of the 22nd annual Vytra Long Island Women's 5 Kilometer Run, held on the roads of Farmingdale on Saturday, July 9.

Lauren crossed the finish line at Farmingdale High School in 17:24, a pace of 5:36 minutes per mile in this 3.1-mile event.
Jodi Schoppmann of Levittown was one of the race's top Long Island finishers were at 16:56.
The Vytra Women's Run is conducted by the Greater Long Island Running Club, with the support of title sponsor Vytra Health Plans, the Town of Oyster Bay, and the Runner's Edge. GLIRC's Rosemary Camilleri serves as the Race Director.
