The major division of the Levittown Athletic Club, grades 8-12 completed their best out of three playoffs series. The Red Team #34, managed by Jon Ronzo, defeated the Blue Team #32 in the first game 1-0. The Blue Team, managed by Bill Theissen, came back to tie the series on Saturday with a 7-3 win. The final game was played with the Blue Team winning 12-8. The Red Team did come in first place for season, while the Blue Team came in second, reversing the order in the play-offs. Congratulations to all of the girls. In the Farm Division the Purple Power Team #3, managed by Liz Rosenthal, won their first game against the Navy Seals, Team #9, managed by Anthony Marino, taking a 1-0 series lead. The minors play-offs begin this week with Tony Saracino's Team #24 facing the first place season winners Maroon Magic, Team #28, managed by Bobby Tedeschi. FULL STORY
