On behalf of the officers and members of the Levittown American Legion Post 1711, I wish to thank the following organizations for their donation toward our American Flag project in our effort for the beautification of our parade route of the Memorial Day Parade: Levittown Fire Department, Levittown Chamber of Commerce, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9592, Ancient Order of Hibernians and the Levittown Panther Baseball League. Due to logistical circumstances beyond our control, we were unable to display the American flags along our parade route. We will endeavor to display the flags at next year's parade route.
