Rose-Mary H. Bartul died on May 28, 2005 from Alzheimer's Disease. She was a former chairwoman of the English Dept. of Jericho High School, a career teacher of English at Wheatley High School, East Williston and a published poet. She was born in Lewiston, ME, on Feb. 25, 1935 to Michael J. and Marie-Roe (nee Rocheleau) Hagerty. Wife of John. Mother of Jacqueline and Michael. Grandmother of Samantha, Kyle, Jessica, Lauren and Ava. Mother-in-law of Kristina and Jeffrey. The family was cared for by the Thomas F. Dalton Funeral Home, New Hyde Park. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Paul the Apostle RC Church. Interment Mt. Hope Cemetery, Lewiston.
