The varsity baseball club made it two wins in a row with an exciting 2-1 victory over New Hyde Park. Trailing New Hyde Park with 1 out in the bottom of the 7th inning, Peter Marchelos reached on an error. Pinch runner Cole D'Ambrosio scored all the way from 1st on a hit and run single by Rob Lovaglio. With the infield in for New Hyde Park, Justin Muscarella's ground ball scored Lovaglio with the winning run to end the game. Fred Koromi pitched an outstanding game to pick up the win. Koromi went 7 innings, allowing only 2 hits and striking out 7 in a complete game masterpiece. The Bulldogs played outstanding defense all day, highlighted by the infield play of David Darcy, Justin Muscarella and Bryan Marksteiner. Freshman catcher, Paul DelGiacco, continues his fine play behind the plate, throwing out 2 more "would be" base stealers.

The girls varsity softball team had a big win over Glen Cove 3-2. Beth Hughes and Michelle McGurk each had a triple and Alysha Ciaramitaro had her first homerun of the season.

The JV Girls' Softball team evened their record to 3 and 3 with an exciting win over Floral Park 12-11. Trailing 7-1 in the 3rd, the Lady Dawgs came up with 7 runs in the bottom of the 4th to go ahead 8-7. Sam Rooks and Rachel Trager had key hits. Going into the top of the 7th, losing 9-8, Floral Park came up with 3 runs to take the lead 11-9. In the bottom of the 7th, Ashley Alesi connected with a pitch and sent it into the gap between center and right field. It was a tremendous shot! Only a perfect relay and a perfect throw to home plate would deny Ashley a home run. Unfortunately, that's exactly what happened and on a close call and she was tagged out. That could have taken the wind out of I.T.'s sails, but they kept their heads up and rallied. Two walks and a key hit by Stephanie Fabis tied the game. Finally with the bases loaded and 1 out, Jen Abramowski walked on a 3-1 count to win the game. Sam Rooks did a great job in relief.

The girls varsity lacrosse team had a tough loss against Malverne/East Rockaway. They fought hard, making a strong comeback from a 5-3 deficit at halftime. Meghan Sguigna scored a goal to tie the game with 3 minutes to go in the game. Unfortunately, Malverne/East Rockaway scored a goal on a breakaway with 3 seconds left in the game, bringing the final score to 9-8. The girls are learning to play together as a team and working hard at building their skills.

The JV girls lacrosse team suffered their 1st loss of the season to Great Neck South with a final score of 8-5. The girls gave 100 percent all game long with impressive goals by Kristen Weinman and Kaitlyn Mongiardo. The girls will not let this break their confidence as they travel to Elmont next.

The boys JV Bulldogs defeated the Jericho Jayhawks 7-2. Kevin Marksteiner's goal put the Bulldogs up for good. Kyle Riegel, Kieran Riegel and John Carey all added goals in the Bulldog victory. Goalies Billy Caldarera and Anthony Avitable, along with the whole defense played an outstanding game.
