The First Squad reported three arrests in connection with multiple burglaries that occurred in the Levittown-East Meadow area between Feb. 1-March 21.
The three arrested were Kristian Gesuele, 19, Michasel Deptula, 16, and Evan Prager, 17, all of East Meadow.
According to the police report, the defendants usually entered the residences via way of rear windows or open rear doors. Police stated that if windows and doors were locked, they would either remove a window or smash it and once inside, they primarily took jewelry and electronic equipment (computers, digital cameras and speakers, etc.)
As a result of the investigation, all three were arrested on Tuesday, March 29. Gesuele has been charged with five counts of Burglary 2nd Degree, one count of Attempted Burglary 2nd Degree, two counts of Grand Larceny 3rd Degree and one count Criminal Possession of a controlled Substance 5th Degree. Prager has been charged with two counts of Burglary 2nd Degree and one count of Attempted Burglary 2nd Degree. Deptula has been charged with two counts of Burglary 2nd Degree. They were arraigned at First District Court in Hempstead.
