This baseball program is open to all boys and girls from ages 4-12. Their Girls Softball Program is open to girls from age 8-16. They are a supporter of the Island Trees /Levittown Senior League program and invite all graduating players to join this program. The following registration dates will be held at the Levittown Public Library: Monday, Feb. 28, 7 to 9 p.m., Saturday, March 5, 10 a.m. to noon. If your child played last year, you need only mail a check with the child's full name and date of birth on the memo portion of the check. LSW will be hosting a Fastpitch Softball Clinic in March for all of their softball players. This free clinic will be run for their members by the Long Island Sharks. The Levittown New Yorkers Baseball team is looking for high school graduates, college students and baseball players ages 18 and over to play in the summer and fall season. The team needs a few good players to fill open spots: pitchers, catcher, third-baseman, short stop and outfielder. The team plays on Sundays at Levittown Memorial High School field (behind LMEC). Applications are now being evaluated for the Ten Star All Star Summer Basketball Camp. The camp is by invitation only. Boys and girls ages 10-19 are eligible to apply. Past participants include Michael Jordan, Tim Duncan, Vince Carter, Jerry Stackhouse, Gran Hill and Antawn Jamison. Players from 50 states and 17 foreign countries attended the 2004 camp. College basketball scholarships are possible for players selected to the All-American team. Camp locations include: Schenectady, NY, Prescott, AZ, Belmont, CA, Thousand Oaks, CA, Sterling, CO, Bridgeport, CT, Babson Park, FL, Atlanta, GA, Carlinville, IL, Macomb, IL, Greencastle, IN, Atchinson, KS, Baltimore, MD, Ypsilanti, MI, Hickory, NC, Bluffton, OH, Doyleston, PA, Lebanon, TN, Commerce, TX, Blacksburg, VA, Lyndonville, VT and Beloit, WI.
