Nassau County District Attorney Denis Dillon announced the arrest of Scott Peterson, 39, of East Patchogue by the DA's Criminal Frauds Bureau. Peterson is accused of operating a home improvement business without a license, while defrauding a woman from Levittown, leaving her essentially homeless. FULL STORY

The MacArthur Boys Basketball team won their holiday tournament for the third straight year in a dominate fashion, outscoring their opponents 122-79. In the first round, MacArthur beat cross-town rival Division Avenue 63-42.
