Residents Urge County to Install Turning Lanes
Levittown resident Arnold Johnson, who has lived in the community for over 40 years, believes that anyone who uses the intersection of Wantagh Avenue and Miller Place/Cotton Lane in Levittown knows of its danger. For over two years, Johnson, now joined by other members of the community who live in the area, has been petitioning Nassau County to install turning lanes at the intersection.

Levittown Wrestling Programs Raise the Stakes
The Island Trees Bulldogs Wrestling team will have a dual meet against the state powerhouse, MacArthur Generals. The Generals have won four straight Nassau County Championships and Class "A" dual meet titles. They are looking to make it an unprecedented fifth straight championship season. The Generals are led by Stephen DeLorenzo, Bruce Popko and Brian Scher. The Bulldogs are entering the season defending their own Class "B" Nassau County dual meet title and are looking to make a repeat performance in the 2004-05 season. The Bulldogs are led by Mike Cama and Joe Cusker. The match will take place on Tuesday, Dec. 7 at the Island Trees High School Gymnasium. The match will be their first dual meet of the season for both the Generals and the Bulldogs. Both teams are looking to keep their respective titles here in Levittown. All members of the community are invited to come down to watch the Class "A" and "B" champs of Nassau County collide in battle for local bragging rights. It is looking to be an exciting event and great competition for both teams representing the Levittown community.
