According to Nassau County Police, 18-year-old Allison Walker of Levittown was killed in an auto accident that occurred on Friday, Nov. 5 at 10:47 p.m.
The police report stated Walker was a passenger in a 1992 Nissan Sentra operated by 18-year-old Curtis Bella, also of Levittown. Bella's car was in a collision with a 1999 Mercury Marquis operated by 63-year-old Eva Glasser of Wantagh. According to police, the Sentra was traveling eastbound on North Jerusalem Avenue when it was struck by the Mercury, which was westbound on North Jerusalem Avenue.
Police stated Walker was taken to NUMC where she was pronounced dead at 11:25 p.m. A second passenger, 18-year-old Cliff Heenan, also of Levittown is in critical condition at NUMC. The third passenger, Erin Cunningham, also of Levittown, is in fair condition. Glasser and her husband, 64-year-old Martin Glasser are also in fair condition. All parties involved were taken to NUMC, according to police.
Walker graduated from Division Avenue High School in June 2004 and was studying to be a teacher at Nassau Community College.
"She was a good student and a great person," Division Avenue High School Principal Dr. Harry L. Chertok commented.
Walker is survived by her parents, Sheryl and Robert and an elder sibling. The wake and funeral were held at Dalton Funeral Home in Levittown.
